BRICS session of 1st International Youth Poetry Festival held in Beijing

A special session for BRICS countries of the First International Youth Poetry Festival was held in Beijing on Wednesday, bringing together young poets from 10 countries such as Brazil, Russia and India to have in-depth exchanges on various topics such as the value function of poetry and its inheritance and innovation.

The special session was co-sponsored by China Writers Association and the Publicity Department of Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

It aims to put into practice the Global Civilization Initiative put forward by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2023 and give a boost to exchanges and mutual understanding among different civilizations.
