China, India reach solution to border issue: spokesman

China and India have reached a solution to the border issues, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian at a press briefing in Beijing on Tuesday (Oct. 22).

"Lately, China and India have maintained close communication on the border issues through diplomatic and military channels. The two sides have reached a solution to the relevant issue. Going forward, China will work with India to implement the solution," Lin said.
