Drone displays illuminate skylines in cities across China during National Day holiday
Dazzling drone shows lit up the night skies over many Chinese cities in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China, which falls on Oct 1.
In Jingzhou City of central China's Hubei Province, thousands of drones illuminated the night sky, forming shapes of the red boat and giant dragons, thrilling the tourists with their light and shadow displays.
"The show was a deeply moving experience. From the red boat to an aircraft carrier, China's comprehensive national strength has been continuously growing, allowing us to enjoy the wonderful life we have today," said Gao Yan, a tourist.
The Red Boat, one of the most iconic boats in China, is historically significant as the site where the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China concluded in 1921.
"On this special day, we come together with people from all over the country to enjoy the gorgeous fireworks, and we feel a vibrant festive atmosphere," said Huang Xuan, another tourist.
The city also presented a splendid molten iron fireworks show, where molten iron shot into the sky before cascading down, creating a breathtaking scene as burning iron filings sparkled like silver beads.
China's southern tech hub of Shenzhen staged a drone show, where drones illuminated the night sky, creating patterns of the city's landmarks and delivering a spectacular performance for all to enjoy.
"It's stunning. Our motherland has beautiful mountains and rivers, and I wish her an even brighter future," said Mr Liu, a tourist.
